Paw Palooza

Coolidge Park goes to the dogs, and that's a good thing. McKamey Animal Center's annual Paw Palooza brings a full day of dog games, contests, animal demonstrations, vendors, food trucks, and the pet walk. New this year: the first-ever Best in Show competition, with Local 3 alum Jed Mescon as master of ceremonies, featuring categories like "wiggliest tail" and "best rescue story." Bring your dog, bring your camera, just keep them leashed.
Proceeds support McKamey Animal Center. Adoption Zone on-site with several rescue partners.

Best minor-league team name in the country, twice in one weekend
